Nordrhein-Westfalen is one of the major players on the international trade fair stage. With total exhibition space of more than 704,000 square meters, the state is one of the world's largest trade fair locations – ahead of Hanover, Milan, Frankfurt a.M., Valencia, Paris and Chicago.
More than 60 internationally leading trade fairs such as drupa, boot, anuga, photokina, MEDICA, Schweißen & Schneiden, and SECURITY take place in NRW, attracting approx. 6 million visitors every year.
