  • The german wood pellet producer German Pellets GmbH invests together with RWE Innogy Cogen 21m € to establish a pellet production in Siegen-Wittgenstein.
  • The French producer of packaging materials Gascogne Laminates strengthens its location in Linnich by “firing up” a new 6m € expensive printer.
  • The arab logistic company Aramex International has announced to establish its central hub for Germany in Cologne.
  • The german logistic company Dachser GmbH & Co. KG invests 26m € to expand its subsidiary in Neuss and creates 50 new jobs in the medium term.
  • Danone Waters, subsidiary of the french Danone company establishes a new logistic hub in Duisburg.
  • The Japanese lens producer Hoya Corporation relocates the production of high-tech lenses from Müllheim im Breisgau to Mönchengladbach.
  • The Australian company Ceramic Fuell Cells, supported by NRW.INVEST, has opened a high-volume manufacturing plant for the production of solid oxide fuel cell stacks. In Oberbruch, Heinsberg the company invested 9.5m € and creates 80 new jobs.
  • The hessian engineer company Rücker AG (Wiesbaden) establishes its main location for the new business area plant construction in Düsseldorf. 100 workplaces will be created.
  • The German kitchen manufacturer Alno AG relocates its headquarter from Pfullendorf (Baden-Württemberg) to Düsseldorf.
  • The Chinese ICT-company Huawei announces to invest 20m €. in a new R&D center in Düsseldorf. Up to 200 workplaces will be created.
  • The German logistic company DHL invests 10m € in Menden to expand the logistic capacities for the Swiss company ABB Ltd.
  • The Dutch furniture company Leolux expands its activities in North Rhine-Westphalia and opens its first Leolux Brandstore in Cologne.
  • The german grocer company Netto-Marken Discount invests 34 m € to set up his new logistic hub in Krefeld. Up to 130 jobs will be created.
  • The Japanese company Yokohama Rubber Company Ltd. already establishes with “Yokohama Industrial Products Europe GmbH” its third company in North Rhine-Westphalia.
  • The NRW based company Miele invests 12m € to expand its fabrication in Bünde. A new assembly hall for steamers will be build up.
  • The Swedish vehicle manufacturer Volvo AB announces to enlarge its activities in North Rhine-Westphalia and establishes for its subsidiary Renault Trucks a new branch in Frechen. Ten new jobs will be created.
  • Europe’s largest private ice cream producer Rosen Eiskrem, expands its capacities in Waldfeucht and creates 40 new jobs.
  • The US cosmetic company Estée Lauder enlarges its activities in North Rhine Westphalia and invests 5m € to expand its logistic hub in Kerpen.
