Japan Business Day
Since 2002, the "Japan Business Day" has been an integral part of the annual "Japan Day Düsseldorf/NRW" and offers a unique platform for German-Japanese exchange against the backdrop of the strong Japanese business locations of North Rhine-Westphalia and Düsseldorf. Every year, the event takes up current economic topics with specialist lectures and firsthand reports and is aimed at professional visitors from the German and Japanese economy.
The Japan Business Day is organized by NRW.Global Business together with the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Innovation, Digitalization and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, Japantag Düsseldorf e.V. (Japanese Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Düsseldorf, Japanischer Club Düsseldorf e.V.) and the City of Düsseldorf. Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), the Düsseldorf Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) and the German-Japanese Business Circle (DJW) support the event as partners.
The last Japan Business Day took place on 27 May 2019 in Düsseldorf under the motto "Artificial Intelligence and Imaging Technology – Decisive Factors for the Digitalization of Industry".
The excellent infrastructure, the central location and the high qualifications of the people make North Rhine-Westphalia an economic power of international standing. In terms of numerous economic statistics, NRW is world class.
